In order to expand its capacity to meet with growing demands in providing technical support to country partners, HITAP International Unit (HIU) is currently looking for a Project Associate to join our team to help coordinate projects under HIU in various countries including our new project in India. As a Project Associate, who plays the important role in coordinating and facilitating international projects under HIU, you will be working with international partners and exposed to HTA capacity building activities and institutionalizing evidence-inform policy decision-making in various low- and middle-income countries that HIU is working with. These will exercise and enhance your knowledge on HTA and health system in different contexts, skill in management and organization, and many more.
This position is ideal for those who are well-organized, love meeting and communicating with people and perform well individually and as a team. Background in HTA, health economics or health is a plus but not compulsory since demonstrated interest and open-mind to learn about these fields are what we are searching for. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written.
With supervision from related authorities, plan and implement the plan for international projects under HIU, including but not limited to developing project proposals, planning for country visits, technical trainings, consultation meetings and other related activities;
Support the preparation of workshops, conferences, study visits, and other related activities, including but not limited to liaising between organizations, coordination, organization, oversight;Participate in and/or support the organization of HIU HTA capacity building and other activities, including but not limited to providing technical support, experience sharing and training workshops, stakeholder engagement tools, study visits, internships, in collaboration with international partners and HITAP research staff; Prepare venue and logistic arrangements, including travel and finances; coordinate documents and equipment for meetings, and teleconferences for international collaborations and programs;
Participate in research activities, including but not limited to, research proposal development, data collection and analysis, report and manuscript preparation, as assigned.
Support communications of projects under HIU to funders, international partners and broader audiences, including but not limited to preparing trip reports and supporting the preparation of policy briefs, web blogs, and other communication materials.
