This blog aims to highlight why knowledge translation (KT) is crucial in applying mathematical modeling to real-world policy decisions. It argues that beyond developing technical models, research groups must work hand-in-hand with local stakeholders to ensure that the insights generated are understood, trusted, and ultimately used.
