We translate HITAP’s research into accessible information for policymakers, academics, and the general public. We also promote social engagement to help drive the practical application of evidence, ensuring that relevant stakeholders can easily access and use it effectively. In parallel, we strengthen internal communications to enhance collaboration and alignment across the organization.

Scope of Work

The Communication Unit focuses on the strategic management and design of communications to support HITAP’s core strategy on knowledge translation. Its work aims to bridge research with practical application by health professionals and the public, as well as to foster societal engagement. The unit’s core areas of work include the following:
Research Communication and Knowledge Translation
Plan and implement communication strategies and collaborate with researchers to translate complex findings into accessible content tailored to diverse audiences through various channels.
External Communication Channel Management
Plan, develop, and manage the organization’s communication channels, including the website, social media, print and digital media, and coordinate with the press to effectively disseminate research findings and organizational updates. Monitor and evaluate communication efforts on an ongoing basis to improve content delivery and expand audience reach.
Internal Communication
Foster clear internal communication to build shared understanding and support effective collaboration across the organization.
