We specialize in developing and evaluating innovative health promotion strategies. Our mission is to enhance the effectiveness, scalability, and sustainability of health promotion programs in Thailand through rigorous research, digital innovation, and capacity building with partners. We focus on multi-component interventions that target physical activity, tobacco control, and chronic disease prevention, utilizing tools such as mixed-methods evaluations, behavioral science, and gamification. Our work supports policymakers and practitioners by generating practical, context-sensitive evidence and user-friendly evaluation tools.

Scope of Work

The PI Unit focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of complex health promotion interventions. Our scope of work includes:
1. Program Evaluation
  • Conducting process, outcome, and impact evaluations of multi-component health promotion programs.
  • Applying mixed-methods approaches and frameworks such as the socio-ecological model and behavioral change wheel.
2. Guideline and Tool Development
  • Developing national guidelines for health promotion program evaluation.
  • Creating practical tools, checklists, and dashboards to support local implementers and decision-makers.
3. Digital Innovation for Health Promotion
  • Designing and evaluating digital tools, games, and platforms to promote healthy behaviors.
  • Integrating behavioral science and educational theory into digital health interventions.
4. Capacity Building and Knowledge Translation
  • Delivering workshops, e-learning modules, and mentorship programs to strengthen evaluation capacity among health professionals and program implementers.
  • Translating evidence into accessible formats such as infographics, websites, and policy briefs.
