About Project
Content
This study aimed to survey experience, knowledge, importance, training needs and barriers of economic evaluation and to estimate the current human capacity and gaps in economic evaluation among researchers and policymakers in both the public and private sectors in Thailand. Based on the results, it was found that researchers, healthcare personnel, and policy makers still lacked knowledge and understanding related to economic evaluation. The survey also highlighted their interests in training, both short and long term, in order to enhance human resources for improving health technology assessment in the future.
