Content

Ministry of Public Health, the Royal Thai Government, has been entrusted by the World Health Organization (WHO) to co-host the First Global Forum on Medical Devices, scheduled to take place September 9th-11th, 2010, at the Hotel Plaza Athenee, Bangkok. The event attracted over 300 stakeholders, such as policy makers, scholars and health professionals from public sectors, private sectors and civil society from 90 WHO member countries. This first international forum is convened to mobilize stakeholders to action, to promote discussion, to share knowledge on best practices and tools available, explore challenges towards health benefits to people the world over who suffer limited or no access whatsoever to required medical devices.
