Biography
Zin is an Associate at the International Unit of the Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP) Foundation. She specializes in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) to inform decision making in health policy through country-focused initiatives. Zin received her Bachelor in Pharmacy from University of Pharmacy (Yangon) and completed her Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from Mahidol University and is dedicated to producing high-quality academic evidence to inform health policy and decision-making at both national and international levels.
Her research interests encompass a diverse range of topics, including migrant health, regional coordinated procurement, precision medicine, and the regional harmonization of clinical efficacy to guide policy development. Zin has contributed to national and regional research collaborations, working closely with stakeholders from government agencies, international organizations, and academic institutions.
Her work underscores the importance of evidence-informed, contextually relevant, and sustainable health policies. She is particularly committed to strengthening health systems through multidisciplinary collaboration and cross-sectoral engagement, with the goal of improving equitable access to healthcare.
