Biography

Ryan Jonathan Sitanggang is an International Cooperation Officer (ICO) at the International Unit of the HITAP Foundation. He works on strengthening HTA networks and systems across Asia through initiatives such as the Asia HTA Registry, the HTAsiaLink Strategic Plan, and regional capacity-building. His role includes managing partnerships, coordinating projects, and supporting strategies that promote evidence-informed policymaking.

Beyond coordination, Ryan actively engages in knowledge translation, communications, and stakeholder engagement to bridge research outputs with policy needs. He collaborates with researchers and partners to foster knowledge exchange and regional cooperation.

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community Public Health from Asia Pacific International University (AIU) in Saraburi, Thailand. His interests include health policy, behavioral sciences, and health promotion. He is also passionate about applying evidence-informed strategies to support community health programs and humanitarian initiatives in underserved regions, linking research and policy to real-world impact.
