Apinya Mattadet is a communication officer at Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP). In 2001 she completed a bachelor degree in Arts, major in English studies from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. She gained her experience in creative writing at Amarin Printing & Publishing Public Company Limited for two years. Then she spent two years on working as a freelance workshop coordinator before studying a master degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics at Chulalongkorn University. After graduation, she worked for a non-government organization, Foundation for Ecological Recovery for two years. Before working with HITAP, as a full-time volunteer she worked closely with particular civil society on the issues such as energy. With HITAP she aims to bridge the gap between academic achievement and the public gain in the interest of a just society.
